Location and Arrival
Your holiday experiences begin as soon as you set off on your journey to the Breilerhof. With our map, it is easy to find your way here, and you will already be able to enjoy the astonishing panorama of the Dachstein. Our "nature hotel" lies in a peaceful, sunny setting right next to the pistes on the Planai. A great base, in other words, for your skiing enjoyment in winter and relaxed hikes or extended walks in summer. If you are in the mood for a full-blown shopping expedition or simply to explore the town center, Schladming is barely 5 km away.
You will be able to park your car at the hotel, with a number of carports also available. At that point, your mountain escape can well and truly commence.

Flixbus provides rapid bus service to Schladming. Comfortable coach travel from Graz or Salzburg to your chosen holiday destination. While you are on board, you will be able to enjoy all the passenger amenities including WiFi, comfortable seats, and refreshing beverages.
by train
ÖBB
Eurocity and Intercity trains operated by ÖBB stop every two hours in Schladming. With direct connections from Graz, Innsbruck and Salzburg. Trains also depart Vienna every two hours, requiring a one-time transfer in Leoben (using the same platform).
TIP: Every Friday, an express train runs directly from Vienna to Schladming; meanwhile, the return train (also direct) departs Schladming on Sunday.

Deutsche Bahn
You can enjoy a relaxed ride on trains operated by Deutsche Bahn from virtually everywhere in Germany to here in Schladming. For example, travelers from Northern Germany, Berlin or the Rhine-Ruhr region can take advantage of highspeed express service to Munich, then hop on the daily EuroCity train providing a direct connection to Schladming.
TIP: two direct connections daily from Stuttgart to Schladming.
