Due to extensive renovations of the Ofenauer and Hiefler tunnels as well as the Werfen tunnel chain, there will be obstructions on the A10 Tauern motorway (in both directions) in Salzburg between mid-September 2023 and June 2024.

• Check public transport alternatives
• When travelling via the A10, check the real-time information provided by ASFINAG or by using Google Maps.
• For travellers from Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark (especially all regions north of Nuremberg): Check the route and, if necessary, use the A9 Pyhrn motorway as a detour
